Cinderella's Fairy Godmother was one of the characters in the fairy tale Cinderella. She is known in the fairy tale for being the magical godparent of Cinderella and uses her magic to help Cinderella on her way to the ball, in the process turning a pumpkin into a coach and the girl's rags into a beautiful dress. However, the Fairy Godmother's magic breaks at Midnight

The Fairy Godmother first appears after the voices are tormenting Cinderella. She says she can give Cinderella a new life but, as nothing is for free, she desires the young girl's soul in the afterlife, to serve by her side when she dies.
Desperately, Cinderella agrees and asks to attend the royal ball, as well as demanding that the Fairy Godmother punish her wicked step-family for their misdeeds against her.
The Fairy Godmother agrees and uses her magic to give the girl a beautiful gown and enchanted glass slippers. However, there is a catch to the spell and the Fairy Godmother warns Cinderella that everything will end at Midnight. And so, she goes to the ball and dances with the Prince - leaving behind a single glass slipper.
As she is hanging the washing the next day, Cinderella is visited again by her Fairy Godmother, who tells her that the Prince is searching for the girl who he will make his princess. The Fairy Godmother tells her that she has enchanted the glass slipper the Prince carries with him so that it can only fit one foot in all the land...Cinderella's. The Fairy Godmother also says that great things shall await the girl and that Cinderella's dreams shall come true soon, all thanks to her Fairy Godmother's magic.
Still impatient however, Cinderella demands to know what is to become of her wicked step-family and that they deserve to be punished for their transgressions against her. Laughing slightly at her harshness, the Fairy Godmother uses her magic to summon a flock of demonic birds, who torture and murder the stepsisters by pecking their eyes out.
